Design-Builders want full accountability for construction – they insist on it. By knowledgeably pursuing design quality and by effectively controlling costs and schedule, a design-builder makes certain that concept-to-completion is more than idle discourse. It is a reality carved in stone.
Landscape architecture and design in Vermont is unique to other areas of the country. It is a blending of many varied architectural styles and site attributes, such as drainage and weather exposures. Our design intent is to blend our ideas with yours, creating a shared vision that is long lasting and responsible to the architecture and the needs of the site. Our projects vary greatly and though we often work on large projects that have many facets, we tackle smaller challenges as well.
It is our goal to see everyone who calls and to give them an honest assessment of what Homestead Landscaping can do for them. All of our plans and conceptual drawings are still done by hand; we strive for a warmer presentation with an emphasis on an artistic feel and interpretation. A great plan always has changes – we look for these and recognize them as opportunities to enhance the finished project. Homestead does not charge for initial consultations, or design work. However, the design is the property of Homestead Landscaping until a proposal is accepted and a deposit for the installation received. We feel very strongly about the integrity of our designs and the skills of our staff that implement them.
Please look over our Portfolio page; there you will see we completely embrace the landscape vernacular of the beautiful state of Vermont. Homestead Landscaping also bids and installs commercial projects; we have great relationships with many of the area's construction companies, general contractors and architects.
